Update from Weydon Team 3

Hello everyone!

Things are looking up now, no more mishaps! We have completed the sports day project- very slow, but got there eventually. We are ahead of schedule with the playground, so don’t worry Team 4! Getting used to the toilets, we have now got poo scores, George being the winner so far! The relationships with the kids are very strong already, they are all so kind and willing to help. Our buddies have been very generous and given us presents such as fruit, embroidery and necklaces. We all fetched the water from the well today and some of the brave carried it back on their head (Hannah McGowan was best!) We now appreciate the easy access of water in England.

Last night we went to the weekly village street party; great music, but some rather interesting suggestive dancing from the villagers! We also had a very lovely bed-time poem read to us by Xav about a very special girl to him (cough Jemma). His feelings have now been made clear.

Goodbye from us all, looking forward to seeing you. x

Will- Hey Mum and Dad, hope you had a brilliant time on holiday, missing you lots. Tell Kate that I love her and am missing her lots (and thanks for the boxers!) xxxx

Abi- Hope Scotland was fun Dad, and hope Bellas stay with her friends was good. Mum, I’m looking forward to milk and cheese again! Thank you for the card and  the hair ties. Missing you lots xxx

Hannah McGowan- Family, I’m missing you lots, got a kid to bring home! Mum, had another tea incident but I’m fine. Please tell Paul that I can’t email him, I hope he enjoyed Malia and that I love him. Friends, if you are keeping up to date, Jemma and I miss you!!

Freya- Missing you all loads, especially the cats! Looking forward to seeing you all, tell Grandma to stop worrying, i’m fine and enjoying myself loads. The chocolate stash is serving me well! Hope you are all good and the weather isn’t that bad xxxx

Keir- Hey Mum and Dad, hope you are enjoying your time without me, must be very quiet at home! Very glad to hear about Grandad getting out the hospital, that is great news (be sure to give him my love). By the way I am getting much more sleep than I do at home, and i’m sorry to say but the food is better as well! The long drop toilet is hell, but luckily no-one has got the runs, as we have all become hygiene freaks. Love you lots, see you soon xx PS say hi to Ben and Joss, and tell Joss to check my Facebook account on my birthday.

Tom Fox- Hi, hope you are well and see you soon. Also if my bike has come, can you please give it Steve or James to build :) Love Tom x

Hannah Bain- Hello everyone, I’m missing you all very much but I am having an amazing time which I’m sure you will be glad to hear! I have fallen in love with a 3 month old baby boy and the mother said I could take him home if  I come back next year- and I agreed! Mum, please may you text Jacob to tell him that I love him lots, I hope he read the letter I gave him. Also, there is no internet signal anywhere near to email him or anything. I’m looking forward to having a bath and using a normal toilet again. Only 11 days untill i see you all. Love you and miss you all xxxxx

Guy Williams- LOL at these wettys.

Xav Stride- Hi all, hope things are fine. If you are still on holiday then I hope it is as hot as it is here! Hope Stan is fine in  the catery and isn’t too moody when I return! Lots of love, will write again soon. Xav xxx

Hi Xav – Mum. I did post this morning on the last blog but didn’t sign off so you wouldn’t have know it was from me. Anyway. Fab to hear from you. Obviously I mss you loads. No comment from you on toilets etc so hope all is functioning well! In Greece at the mo and will rescue Stan on Weds. I’ve read a book which had stuff in it about a Zoo and apparently animals adapt quickly to their environs and go for least effort. So she’ll be fine. xxx
