Our mission is to give young Ghanaians the best possible start to their education, enabling them to achieve their full academic potential and contribute to Ghana’s future economic development. We achieve this through our Brighter Futures Programme, delivering Transformational Teacher Training and Building Better Schools
The Transformational Teacher Training Programme is a highly innovative and impactful teacher training approach, drawn directly from Ghana's government strategy. The programme has trained 720 practising kindergarten teachers, head teachers and student teachers to deliver active and play based learning.
Through a nine-year partnership with international design and engineering firm Arup, we have developed, evaluated, optimised and replicated a safe, sustainable model kindergarten school that meets the needs of the Ghana government’s early-childhood care and development policy. The 12 schools already completed have won domestic and international recognition as some of the very best kindergarten schools in Ghana.
